In 2025, TechBBQ piloted the first ever summit for pension professionals with a spotlight on venture as an asset class. This year, we are returning with a fresh programme of insights, delivered by speakers of the same high calibre as before.

LP Activities at TechBBQ
LP Forum Stage
The LP Stage is one of three stages at the LP Forum, taking place on the afternoon of Day 0, following the European Growth Pension Summit and the Family Office Summit. With 250+ participants, attendees are free to join sessions of interest across the stages or stay in the networking area.
Expect to meet professional investors and decision-makers from sovereign funds, fund-of-funds, foundations, family offices, as well as ultra-high-net-worth individuals and serial entrepreneurs.
Pension Summit Stage
The European Growth Pension Summit is one of the three stages at the LP Forum. It takes place on the morning of Day 0, alongside the Family Office Stage.
It brings together over 100 representatives from European and global pension funds, with a programme that explores the future of venture and growth as an asset class.
Expect to meet fellow pension professionals, as well as policymakers and venture capital associations.
Family Office Stage
The Family Office Stage is one of the three stages at the LP Forum — and brand new for TechBBQ 2026. It takes place on the morning of Day 0, alongside the European Growth Pension Summit, and ahead of our afternoon session on the LP Stage.
With a programme tailored to family offices, covering the complexities of governance and succession, you can expect to be part of a curated audience of peers from fellow family offices, as well as ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
LP Dinner
The most exclusive gathering at TechBBQ, bringing a curated guestlist of LPs and ultra-VIPs together for stimulating conversation and an unparalleled fine dining experience.

GP/LP Matchmaking
One of the most sought-after events at TechBBQ. A curated matchmaking experience taking place on Day 1 of TechBBQ Main Summit (26 August), bringing together a carefully balanced group of Limited Partners and General Partners.
Here, LPs are in the driving seat, receiving a tailored list of promising GPs to choose from in advance. On the day, LPs and GPs are matched for six pitching sessions of 10 minutes each. The event culminates with networking and lunch.
For LPs, commitment to this pitching event comes with a complimentary investor ticket to the TechBBQ Main Summit (26–27 August at Bella Center, Copenhagen).
LPs participating in the GP/LP Matchmaking will receive a free TechBBQ Investor Ticket.
